Parents in the GTA are worried about their children falling behind academically and their mental health concerns.
We help ease your concerns by completing professional counselling and psychoeducational assessments that help parents and teachers understand children's needs and support their strengths, so they can succeed to the best of their abilities at school and in life.

Meet Deanne Edwards
I am a registered psychologist in Ontario, certified to practice school and counselling psychology with children and adolescents.
I have worked for over 18 years in elementary and secondary schools at a large public school board in the Greater Toronto Area.
As a self-identified African descendant, Jamaican and Canadian Black Psychologist and a parent of two children, I especially understand the struggles of Black parents.
However, please note that my doors are open to everyone. I would love to work with you to help your child succeed at school to the best of their abilities.
What we offer.
Your child deserves to thrive and excel at school.
Edwards Psychology Services provides registered psychologist services in Ontario and is certified to practice school and counselling psychology with children and adolescents.
We take your children from struggling to thriving.
This is our simple process.
Give Us A Call
Call for a free 30-minute consultation to discuss your concerns about your child and explore whether we are a good fit to work together.
Receive Outstanding Care
Schedule counselling session(s) or arrange a few appointments for a psychoeducational assessment to be completed. Please note that the number of appointments your child requires for a psychoeducational assessment depends upon your child's concerns and how quickly they complete tasks during the assessment sessions.
Watch Your Child Excel
We will work towards helping your child achieve their goals in counselling. Alternatively, when your child's psychoeducational assessment is finished, we will discuss the results, and then I will share the final report, which you can use to obtain more support at their school.
